Ray Bradbury: A Great Non-Brown Author

Ray Bradbury is one of the few non-browns who get it. He knows the deal and isn’t afraid to tell it through his stories. He’s a man of great wisdom who doesn’t worry about the mainstream, but digs deep and shows his understanding of what he assesses through his works.

In one of my favorite works, Martian Chronicles, he dissects in interesting ways the phenomenon of colonialism. Bradbury brilliantly uncovers the arrogance of non-browns and not so subtly the reaction of browns during the fiascos that unfold. His rather humorous storytelling technique is endearing.
